How am I feeling?
Still feeling sluggish, but it may be due to lack of sleep. Not feeling the upset stomach I've been having while on the loading phase. Feeling some hunger pangs and slight headaches. Overall, I'm doing alright.
Another try
Yet another attempt to lose weight and get back into shape. I've tried diet and exercise and have had moderate success. But every time, I've ended up gaining all the weight back and sometimes more. This time around, I'm trying HCG. Both of my sisters are using it and have both lost considerable amounts of weight. I figured, I should give it a try. Thanks to both of my sisters for providing all of the "stuff" I needed to get started.

Day 5 - Part 1
Just a quick post. I weighed in this morning at 415.4! That's 4.6 lbs. today. That's a little more than what I expected. Still hoping that this will be the norm. That'll put me at my goal weight MUCH sooner!

Day 3 - Part 1
Wanted to send a quick post.
I ate more yesterday than I did on Day 1. When I weighed in this morning... 422.8
I lost another 2.4 lbs. That's kinda crazy, cuz I felt so terrible after eating all that junk. Well, today I start the diet phase and I can't wait to see how that's gonna affect the weight loss!
I'll send an official post later tonight, but was kinda blown away at my weigh in this morning...

How am I feeling?
Well I pigged out yesterday and this morning I weighed myself and I lost 2 lbs. Not sure how that worked, but I hope it's not an indication that I didn't eat enough during this loading phase.
I really had to force myself to eat and kinda had upset stomach feel most of the day. But, I'm doing well and I'm looking forward to the diet phase, so I don't have gorge anymore... 8^)

Day 1
This is actually my entry for yesterday. Didn't have a chance to post this last night, so I posted it this morning. Every evening before bed, I'll put up a new post.

Loading phase.
How am I feeling?
Had a surprisingly difficult time during this loading phase. The purpose is to eat as much fatty foods as possible to saturate the blood with fats. This is supposed to help the HCG to work more effectively.
I found I had to force myself to eat most of the day. I thought this would be the easy part. I guess the HCG also suppresses your appetite. Anyway, one more day of loading then on to a 500 calorie a day diet. Without getting into too much detail, the 500 calorie diet is possible because the HCG helps your body to use your bodyfat as nutrients. The HCG saturates your blood with the nutrients from your bodyfat, so even though you are only taking in 500 calories, you have all of the nutrients you need for normal body functions.
So here's to Day 1!

So, today is the first day of my HCG diet. My awesome sisters have provided everything I needed to get started. They've both lost quite a bit of weight using the HCG diet. Hopefully, I'll have the same results. Without getting into a lot of detail about the diet itself, this blog will chronicle my progress. I'm looking forward to getting back to a "normal" life.
